Go classic with chocolate
Hoffman’s Chocolates says it will use more than 2,000 pounds of strawberry to create their chocolate-covered strawberries (pictured above). Grab one of those pounds to share with your sweetheart for pick up at one of Hoffman’s seven locations.
Hoffman’s also offers other Valentine’s items such as the Valentine’s Day Truffle Assortment, Valentine’s Day Heart Box. Two new offerings include Valentine’s Day Butter Crunch Box (Butter toffee lightly coated in milk chocolate and coated in almond pieces) and Foiled Valentine’s Day Oreos (Hoffman’s Chocolates classic hand-dipped Oreo Cookies that are beautifully dipped and individually wrapped in foil).
Head to the Yard
The Doral Yard has a full day planned for couples. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Alorè hosts Succulents and Bubbles where you can create a terrarium while enjoying Champagne. Then from 5-7:15 p.m., The Javier Garcia Trio at The Yard performs Latin funk music. In between, enjoy $10 Raspberry-Rosewater Gin Rickey cocktails at The Bar at The Yard. Several Yard vendors feature Valentine’s specials as well such as heart-shaped churros and desserts at Santo Dulce, Mix & Match Valentine’s Dinner for 2 at della bowl and the Dim Sum Lovers sampler from YIP.
