4KIDS Hosts Two Community Events in 2024

This year will be significant for 4KIDS as the nonprofit organization hosts two unique community events. The first event will be the Annual Galentine’s Brunch on Thursday, Feb. 8, where women across Broward County will come together. JAG Aero Solutions will present the event, which will take place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in the Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom. The ballroom is located on the second level of the Huizenga Pavilion. It offers stunning views of Fort Lauderdale’s New River and downtown skyline, making it the perfect venue for the event. Since 2018, local businesses and community members have organized a ladies-only event. It aims to provide an afternoon filled with hope for the children and families served by 4KIDS.

“You can count on Galentines to be filled with women from across our community who share a heart to give back,” Katrina Robb says, the Senior Director of Partner Engagement and Marketing and Communications for 4KIDS, which provides family preservation efforts, foster care, residential programs for young adults, and trauma-informed therapy and training. “Not only do our guests get to enjoy a beautiful brunch filled with the spirit of Galentine’s, but they also get the chance to make a profound impact–it’s no wonder we see this event sell out year after year!”

Business sponsorships and individual tickets are on sale now at 4kids.us/br/galentines.

4KIDS is also launching a new event named Culinary Takeoff on Friday, April 5. The event will be hosted at Banyan Air Service, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in South Florida. The event attendees will be able to relish in small plates and food stations from different restaurants and cafes across South Florida, all housed within one of Banyan’s private hangers. Following in the footsteps of the organization’s previous event, Galentine’s Culinary Takeoff is expected to leave a lasting impression on the attendees and positively influence the community.

Culinary Takeoff sponsorships are available now at 4KIDS.us/Takeoff.
