Color by the Coast: Vibrant New Mural Welcomes Visitors to Beach Place

The large-scale mural by South Florida artist Rob Robi spans two walls at the entrance to Beach Place's parking area.

Beach Place, Fort Lauderdale’s premier oceanfront shopping and entertainment destination, is now home to a breathtaking new mural by renowned South Florida artist Rob Robi. The large-scale artwork, spanning two walls at the entrance from the parking area, transforms a once-ordinary walkway into a colorful, welcoming experience that mirrors the beauty of Fort Lauderdale Beach.

“This mural is a stunning addition to Beach Place, enhancing the entrance while capturing the energy and beauty of Fort Lauderdale Beach,” said Blake Stranz, Senior Property Manager for Stiles/Beach Place.  “We wanted something that would inspire and uplift visitors as they step into our plaza, and Rob’s artistry has done just that.”

Robi, a Hollywood-based artist with an extensive portfolio of murals stretching from West Palm Beach to Miami, drew inspiration from the surrounding seascape to craft a piece that radiates energy, warmth, and tranquility.

“Fort Lauderdale Beach has some of the most spectacular ocean views, and I wanted to bring that same vibrancy into the space,” said Robi.“My goal with public art is always to create something that sparks joy, inspires, and brings a sense of peace to those who experience it.”

Over three weeks, Robi meticulously brought his vision to life using high-quality exterior paints, ensuring that the mural will remain a striking feature for years to come. Known for his work in schools, hospitals, and businesses, Robi believes murals do more than decorate—they uplift, transform, and connect communities.
