Dog Friendly Destinations in South Florida

This Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal restaurant recently launched a complete Doggy Menu for four-legged diners accompanying their two-legged friends. This menu includes savory, veterinary-approved meals like Bahia Beef with USDA ground beef, whole wheat macaroni, butternut squash, organic carrots, apples, kale, organic pumpkin seed oil, organic hemp oil and a blend of essential vitamins and minerals. Each item on the Doggy Menu ranges from $8 to $14 and was carefully crafted by Meals for Dogs in Fort Lauderdale.

 

Quarterdeck and Whiskey Neat

The shared patio between the new Quarterdeck and Whiskey Neat Fort Lauderdale locations is the perfect place to celebrate National Dog Day with your pup. Enjoy live music and a specialty Puppy Chow menu featuring grilled chicken with rice, bacon, sweet potato treats and an unseasoned hamburger patty.

 

Casa Sensei

This restaurant serves up Pan-Asian flavor in a pup-friendly way with the introduction of “dog sushi” created with chicken and rice as well as a vegetarian option with veggies and rice. Guests can dine al-fresco in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale overlooking the Himmarshee Canal. Casa Sensei also offers monthly happy hours for humans and dogs alike.

 

Brimstone Woodfire Grill – CityPlace Doral

This restaurant recently added a dog-friendly food and drink menu to their monthly Bark N’ Brunches. From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., four-legged friends can choose from three select entrees and a specialty doggie “mocktail made with bone broth, beef broth and water. Entree selections include the Awoof Con Pollo with chicken, rice and veggies, Filet Pupnon with petit filet tips and sweet potatoes and the No Cats Allowed with egg whites, smoked salmon and sweet potatoes. Each item is available for just $12 and is served in a doggie bowl (pictured).

 

Doggy Day Event at Mr. C Coconut Grove

Celebrate National Dog Day on August 26 with a Puppy Party from 6 to 9 p.m. featuring a doggie buffet table with selections like the “Polpettine K9” and 14-ounce Rib-Eye, packages of doggie treats crafted by the on-site chef and doggie bowls with the Mr. C logo. Of course, the celebration doesn’t stop there. Puppy parents can also enjoy treats from the II Giardino’s Midsummer Spritz Happy Hour menu available all night.
