Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival pictured

Where: Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton

What: Just in time for the season of all things pumpkin spice comes this festival, complete with carnival rides, a scarecrow village, pumpkin decorating, cornstalk maze and more. Plus, pumpkin lovers indulge in a pumpkin food court, beer bars and, of course, a pumpkin patch.

Deerfield Beach Fall Festival

When: Oct. 19, 4-8:30 p.m.

Where: Pioneer Park, 217 NE Fifth Ave., Deerfield Beach

What: The family-fun event features fall activities such as pumpkin picking and hay rides. Plus, there’s photo zones, arts and crafts, bounce houses, face painting, live entertainment and food and drinks.

South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble

When: Oct. 19, 7 p.m.

Where: Broward Center

What: Miss Coco Peru hosts the ensemble’s “(R)evolution,” which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots with two new commissioned pieces and other works that tell the story of the LGBTQ movement.
