What: The farewell tour of the iconic Southern rock band features original member Gary Rossington, singing 40 years’ worth of music that has sold 30 million units. Expect hits such as “Free Bird” and the mega popular “Sweet Home Alabama.”

Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale Holiday Lights Cruise

When: 6:30 p.m. every night from Nov. 30-Dec. 12 (boarding time is 6:15 p.m.); 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Dec. 13-23 (boarding time is 8:15 p.m.)

Where: Departing from Stop 1, 335 SE Sixth Ave. on the intracoastal between Cheesecake Factory and Stranahan House.
