  • Dining Rewards: It pays to dine right now at three restaurants inside Mizner Park. The mixed-use project in downtown Boca Raton and its managing company, Brookfield Properties, are offering a $20 Visa rewards card for every takeout purchase of $50 or more (not including tip, tax, delivery charge or gift card) at Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Blue Fish (Japanese bistro) or Villagio (Italian cuisine). Diners must take a photo of their receipt and complete the steps at dinedelights.com to redeem. Brookfield Properties also is donating $10 to the Feeding America COVID-19 Response Fund, now through June 30, for every Instagram post that shows a meal from a Mizner Park restaurant using #DineDelightDonate.

  • Virtual Fundraising: Boca Helping Hands presents its first virtual fundraiser this Friday (May 1) at 7 p.m.. The event, streaming on Facebook Live, includes musical performances by Nashville artists Kurt Stevens (a Boca Raton native; pictured above) and Dawn Marie, as well as live performance art by Dale Henry and an online auction. This event, which replaces BHH’s annual Monopoly fundraiser, will raise dollars to supply needy families with meals during the pandemic, job training for those who need new careers and much more.
