Here are a few places in South Florida offering sweet delights this month.

 

Diya Indian Kitchen. This destination for modern vegetarian Indian cuisine at Sunset Harbor offers Kheer Ice Cream, homemade rice ice cream infused with saffron.

 

Shooters Waterfront. Eat your ice cream quickly before it melts at this dockside restaurant offering Betty’s Apple Pie with red delicious apples, cinnamon sugar and vanilla bean ice cream or seasonal sorbets and ice cream.

 

Kitchen 305. The restaurant inside Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort offers a sweet lover’s delight with an ice cream creation featuring molten lava cake, vanilla ice cream, brownie brittle, choc dipped strawberries, gaufrette roulees, gummy bears, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, raspberry sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

 

Cafe Prima Pasta. Want your sweets on the lighter side? Enjoy ice cream Italian style with pineapple sorbetto, lemon sorbetto and coconut sorbetto.

 

Angelo Elia the Bakery Bar. Gelato is made in-house daily at this Ft. Lauderdale destination for authentic Italian treats. Enjoy pistachio, limone, stracciatella, chocolate, and more flavors. Gelato is also served at Angelo Elia Pizza, Bar, Tapas, and Casa D’Angelo.

 

Museum of Discovery and Science. MODS combines the fun of ice cream with the curiosity of science to celebrate National Ice Cream Day on July 19. Families learn how to make ice cream with salt, cream, sugar and a baggie at Scrumptious Science Bagged Ice Cream and take in the Brain Freeze! Nitrogen Show at the Keller Science Theater. Hoffman’s Chocolates. Through July 26 on Sundays, Hoffman’s offers BOGO Sundaes with buy one, get one ice cream sundaes. Plus, Monday through Thursday throughout the month brings Milkshake Happy Hour from 3-4 p.m. during which customers can purchase any of Hoffman’s Chocolates classic handmade milkshakes for only $5.
