What’s On Tap at Gulfstream

Between August and December, Gulfstream Park Village (901 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach) is hosting several social distanced events and initiatives.

  • Food Truck Wednesdays: Starting Aug. 5, Gulfstream will feature a different lunch-hour food truck every Wednesday throughout the month of August. The food truck will be parked from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Silks Run, near the Village Center, and offer menu items in the $10 to $12 range. The list of food trucks kicks off this Wednesday with 30-Slide, followed by Cuban Guys on Aug. 12, Taco Fresh on Aug. 19 and Latin Fixins on Aug. 26.
  • One Blood Drive: Gulfstream will host a monthly blood drive through December in conjunction with One Blood, starting on Saturday, Aug. 15 (from 1 to 7 p.m.). All donors will receive a free COVID-19 antibody test, a One Blood tote bag and a wellness checkup (blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening). Future dates are Sept. 13, Oct. 18, Nov. 15 and Dec. 13.
  • Plant-Based Festival: In celebration of World Vegan Day, Gulfstream Park Village will host its third festival on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expect music, giveaways, kids activities, and some 60 plant-based vendors spotlighting food, drink and plant-based goods. Guests will be required to wear masks; vendors will be appropriately spaced. Gulfstream will give away multi-colored, stainless-steel straws to the first 500 attendees.
