The Big Number: 100

The 100th-anniversary celebration of Gucci is the gift that keeps on giving for lovers of sophisticated style.

In May, the famed fashion house selected handbags from its iconic Beloved line and “polished [them] into a new expression” through design tweaks along with variations on three precious gem colors—sapphire, ruby and emerald. The refreshed handbags include Dionysus (with two tiger heads shaped in the form of a spur), GG Marmont (defined by the famed Double G), and Horsebit 1955 (featuring a double ring and bar).

If that’s not enough, Gucci also introduced a High Watchmaking collection led by the ultra-slim 25H, a chic, contemporary design for men and women in steel and pavé-set models, as well as tourbillon iterations in platinum and yellow gold. The G-Timeless, meanwhile, incorporates five designs—including Dancing Bees, featuring 22 artfully rendered bees that shimmer and move on the dial. Finally, the Gucci Grip line features watch cases outlined with 44 baguette-cut diamonds, four color variations, and jumping-hour architecture. (gucci.com)
