The Art Of Banksy: “Without Limits” Opens in Miami

The provocative British artist Banksy will bring his infamous works of art to Miami when his The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” exhibition opens in Miami at Ice Palace Studios on Friday, Jan. 14. The custom-built exhibit features more than 155 certified originals, prints, photos, lithographs, sculptures, murals and video mapping installations created only for this tour.

Tickets start at $27.20 and are available through Feverup.com/Miami and ArtOfBanksy.com. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

“Visitors will find conversation starters around every corner of this exhibition as Banksy is an exciting and compelling artist we delight in sharing with the public for the first time in Miami,” says Martin Biallas, CEO of SEE Global Entertainment. “Some consider Banksy a prankster and others regard him an artistic genius – no matter one’s perspective, worldwide it’s clear that everyone agrees Banksy’s popularity and influence cannot be denied.”

After successful debuts in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia, The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” tour premiered in Atlanta in September 2021. Due to its popularity, other cities in the U.S. were chosen to host the gallery, with Miami being the second stop on the worldwide tour. Over 1.2 million people have experienced the tour, with each city creating a unique installation to ensure a new and innovative experience for every attendee.

The Art of Banksy:’ Without Limits’ is not an exhibition but a show with a philosophy as Banksy loves to provoke, shock and even disturb society,” says Kemal Gurkaynak, the founder of the exhibition. “He does it with humor and poetry indeed. Banksy has the unique ability to express through his works some truths that most people don’t have the courage to say out loud. And, nowadays, we need to be sincere, empathetic and caring to one another more than ever. This is what Banksy’s art does: it has the power to unite people, ideas, values that can change the world for the better. Through The Art of Banksy: ‘Without Limits,’ our mission is to present the truth about Bansky’s art and to carry his powerful message into the world.”

Regarded as one of the most valuable and talked about contemporary artists, Banksy’s art aims to inspire conversation and generate thought regarding hot-button topics like immigration, greed and politics. The Miami exhibition will feature over 20 of Banksy’s works, carefully reproduced with his stencil technique. These include his March 2021 creation “Escape,” originally appearing on England’s closed Reading Prison and “Pulp Fiction” featuring likenesses of the film’s stars Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta pointing bananas in place of pistols. A video documentary provides guests with insight into Banksy’s life and work. Other highlights include “Dismaland” installations from Banksy’s 2015 pop-up Bemusement Park, prints of “Flower Thrower” and “Kissing Coppers,” and the sculpture “Death of a Phone Booth.”

“Banksy has a unique power to express strong political statements with poetry, energy and humor and an unnerving ability to get to the heart of the subject matter,” Biallas says. “Any location that features Banksy’s work becomes the place to see, and in the U.S., that place is Miami.
