Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort Launches Terrace Pup Event

The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort will launch its monthly Tail Waggin’ Terrace event on Thursday, May 26, on the Tequila Terrace at the property’s signature Lona Cocina & Tequileria restaurant, 321 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. Guests are invited to bring their furry friends to enjoy the sunset Yappy Hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sample treats and complimentary puptails made with pet-safe ingredients such as water, carrot juice and chicken broth will be available for dogs. For people, photo ops and specialty-themed cocktails can be enjoyed for $12, including Xolo – tequila, lime, apple and Fever Tree lemon tonic; La Raza – tequila, lime, apple and Fever Tree pink grapefruit and Nacho – tequila, lime, apple and sparkling lemon. A portion of sales from the specialty cocktails will benefit Animal Aid, a local nonprofit adoption center and clinic.
