Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade to Benefit From Jersey Mike’s 14th Annual “Month of Giving” in March

The goal is to exceed last year’s record-breaking national fundraising total of $21 million.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade has partnered with 11 Jersey Mike’s Subs in Miami-Dade County for the 14th Annual March “Month of Giving” campaign to support local nonprofit organizations. Throughout March, Jersey Mike’s Subs customers can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3, or $5 when placing their order in-store, online, or via the app. The funds raised will be directed towards the various positive programs offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade for the betterment of area youth.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will support the crucial programs and services offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade at its six clubs and sites. These programs include educational after-school programs, tutoring and homework assistance, STEM, social skills, dance, arts and crafts, mentoring, and summer and athletic programs. These programs aim to help children achieve their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

The “Month of Giving” campaign will end with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on March 27. On this day, 11 Jersey Mike’s restaurants in Miami-Dade County will donate 100% of their sales, not just profits, to aid the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. On the “Day of Giving,” Jersey Mike’s owners and operators across the United States will be contributing their resources and every dollar received, be it through in-store purchases, online orders, or the app, to over 200 different charities, which includes hospitals, youth organizations, food banks, and many more.

“We are excited to partner with Jersey Mike’s for its annual’ Month of Giving’ and are tremendously grateful for this opportunity,” said Alex Rodriguez-Roig, president of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. “The funds raised will help us serve the Club’s many positive programs, support the Capital Campaign to completely rebuild the Northwest Club into a state-of-the-art facility and expand the new sixth club.”

“I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit Jersey Mike’s Subs throughout the month of March, and especially on ‘Day of Giving’ when 100 percent of sales – every penny – goes to help a great local cause,” says Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO, who started the company when he was only 17 years old.

Since Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $88 million for local charities. For a list of participating restaurants, please visit the charity listing by state.
