We R.I.S.E. for Autism Golf Classic Benefits HDS Foundation

The nonprofit organization provides opportunities to teens and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or related disabilities.

To support its mission of providing valuable resources to the South Florida autism community, the HDS Foundation will host its inaugural We R.I.S.E. for Autism Golf Classic on Friday, April 26, presented by HDS Companies. The fundraising event will be held at Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, a semi-private golf facility featuring 36 holes of championship golf.

“What a magical way to celebrate our Foundation’s 15th anniversary,” Cristina Miranda Gilson says, Chairman and president of the HDS Foundation. We look forward to seeing the power this tournament has in rallying the housing community to make a meaningful impact on the true champions of our event—the teens and young adults we serve.”

During the We R.I.S.E. for Autism Golf Classic, players can enjoy a welcome lunch reception at Jacaranda Golf Club’s 19th Hole Lounge, which will start at 11:30 a.m. before the scramble-style tournament commences with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Following the afternoon on the greens, an awards ceremony and dinner featuring a silent auction and raffle will be held at 6 p.m. Players can also practice their swing at the driving range, which will be available when registration opens at 11 a.m.
