Margaret Cho Delivers the Sass to The Parker May 16

Cho takes on everything from sex and race to politics and womanhood in her live show.

Need a laugh? Couldn’t we all use one—or many—right about now? Head to the Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker and let Margaret Cho take you away from reality with her Live and Livid! Show. The unabashed Cho is the champion of debunking taboo subjects like sex, race, world politics and womanhood, to name a few, and does it so hysterically that Vogue magazine named her one of the nine best female comedians of all time alongside Joan Rivers, Gilda Radner and Wanda Sykes.

Cho has starred in nine comedy specials, has two musical/comedy albums, has starred in off-Broadway productions and was a contestant on season 11 of Dancing With the Stars. She’s also won numerous awards for comedy, acting, and her anti-racism and anti-bullying efforts and advocating for the homeless and gay rights.

Cho appears at The Parker on Friday, May 16, at 7:30 pm; to purchase tickets, visit browardcenter.org.
