United Way of Broward County’s Wine Women & Shoes

THE EVENT  The first annual Wine Women & Shoes event will serve as one of United Way of Broward County’s main fundraising events for the year. Created for those who enjoy fine wine, great style, and supporting a noble cause, the proceeds from the event will directly impact the community through local programs. The event provides an opportunity for key influencers, fashion tastemakers and charity supporters to join together for shopping and entertainment with the common purpose of building a better Broward County through United Way.

More than 350 attendees will enjoy a multi-designer marketplace where fashion partners will showcase the latest styles, world-class wine tastings, silent auction and fashion show. Renowned Sobol-Perry Fashion Productions, best known for the development and implementation of Miami Fashion Week®, will produce the fashion show. The event will feature Sole Men, charming men from the community who will cater to the crowd with designer shoes presented on silver platters.

Broward Health will serve as the presenting sponsor for the event. Local businesswomen Elizabeth Cambareri of JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Tanya Bower of Tripp Scott join United Way supporters Ronda Finkelstein and Julie Southern as event co-chairs.

THE CAUSE  United Way of Broward County has invested more than half a billion dollars in the community over the past 75 years. The organization serves as an architect of solutions for challenges faced by so many people in our community. The goal is to assist Broward’s Military as they re-acclimate to civilian life, provide emergency food, clothing and shelter, help children, youth and families to live healthy and drug-free, give families the support they need to earn, keep and grow their assets, ensure people have the opportunity to achieve optimal health and help children and youth reach their full potential through a quality education. United Way initiatives continue to productively fill gaps in service. For more information, visit www.UnitedWayBroward.org.

TICKETS  Tickets are available for $125. VIP tickets (guaranteeing seats in the first two rows for the fashion show) are $250. Contact David Esposito at 954.453.3725 or [email protected].
