Gala sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are available.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, the annual “Wild About Kids” Disco Ball hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will take place at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel. The Club Gala event will kick off with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m. followed by a three-course dinner in the Alhambra Ballroom. Esteemed guests, including community leaders, philanthropists, and influencers from South Florida, will step back in time to the 70s for a night of glitz and glamour under the disco ball. Attendees can anticipate an exquisite dinner, dancing, live entertainment, an engaging program, and more, all contributing to the betterment of youth in the Miami-Dade area.

The proceeds from the gala will bolster the essential programs and services offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade at its six locations. These encompass educational after-school programs, tutoring, STEM activities, recreational opportunities, dance, arts and crafts, mentorship, as well as summer and athletic programs. These initiatives play a crucial role in helping children realize their potential and become productive, compassionate, and responsible members of society.

Lucy Grau, known as the “Salsa Disco Queen,” will showcase classic 70s hits by artists like Donna Summer, setting the tone for the evening. Moreover, attendees will enjoy a special 70s musical performance by the youth members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. The event will be emceed by Lynn Martinez, an Emmy Award-winning journalist and WSVN Channel 7 News anchor. Guests will have the opportunity to support a child through donations and take part in a silent auction featuring high-end items and exclusive luxury experiences.
