Spreading the love for arts in Broward

Business for the Arts Broward is spreading some love with some help from renowned artist Cey Adams.

Through its Spread Love fundraising campaign, Business for the Arts Broward is selling 100 limited edition prints Adams’ Love mural in Omaha, Nebraska. Adams, a New York City native, emerged from the downtown graffiti movement and has worked with the Urban League of Broward County and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) to engage youth in an afterschool program that educates middlers about healthy relationships and the value of protecting themselves against preventable diseases such as HIV.

The campaign will support BFA’s innovative programming such as Arts Mean Business Speaker Series, Art in the Workplace and its Art Curation Program. The fundraiser will also aide BFA’s efforts to promote local artists, cultural nonprofits and diverse art-related projects.

Those who order can also purchase $25 raffle tickets for a chance to win the first print of the edition (1/100) or an exclusive “artist’s proof” print.

The prints can be ordered online. Framing is available with a convenience fee of $150. For more information about BFA, click here or contact Robyn Vegas at 954.940.5344 or [email protected].
