Community Photo Contest

“The Way We Worked” is a Smithsonian exhibition that is coming to Pinecrest from September 5 through October 17. It explores how work has become a central element in American culture and how the workforce and the work environment have evolved over the last 150 years.

Pinecrest is holding a community photo contest leading up to the opening of the Smithsonian photo exhibit. Snap a photograph of someone hard at work in the community. The top five photos will be on display at the Pinecrest Gardens’ Gallery throughout the duration of the exhibit.

The deadline for photos is August 26. The contest is open to all ages and abilities. Send high-resolution photos with photographer’s name and a brief photo description to [email protected] To be part of the online gallery via social media, post your photos with the hashtag #TWWWPinecrest.
