To help meet COVID-19 vaccine booster demand and simplify the process, CourMed is now providing concierge delivery of COVID booster shots in South Florida. The healthcare solutions company will offer vaccines for consumers at their homes, offices, or hotels courtesy of physicians, pharmacies, labs, drivers and registered nurses. Along with vaccine delivery, CourMed can deliver prescription medication, vitamins, supplements, natural medicine, PPE and more healthcare products to any home or office.
The company was founded in 2018 with plans to open a new headquarters in Miami Beach. Google for Startups Black Founders Fund and the Microsoft Black and African American Partner Growth Initiative have provided investment support. CEO Derrick L. Miles is also a participant in the inaugural class of the Knight Foundation Fellowship for Healthcare Technology Innovation being presented by Baptist Health South Florida to expand South Florida tech talent and accelerate innovation.
