Experience These Halloween Events in South Florida, Part 2

Whether looking for a costume contest, spooky-themed cocktails, a dance party, or a place to bring the kids for trick or treating, venues across South Florida have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the annual Halloween tradition.

Our favorite events include:

Miami

MILA Restaurant’s second annual “Gypsy Souls” event from 6 p.m. to close at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. Guests are invited to dress up in a gypsy Bohemian-chic theme and will be able elevate their look with the help of face painters that will be on-site from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This will be a multisensory experience with a seated dinner (a la carte), a theatrical mixology experience, a special curated Mykonos-inspired playlist, performances by fire dancers and models dressed in the theme to transform the space. Reservations are required.

A “The Haunted” cocktail ($25) will also be available during dinner or brunch services. The cocktail (pictured, above) will feature a sour and sweet flavor with tequila cimarron, blood orange, cherry heering, dry vermouth, port and charcoal. The black cocktail will be served on the rock over a king cube and placed in a ceramic bowl with dry ice for special spooky effects.

Broward

Pride’s Halloween Extravaganza presented by the Aids Healthcare Foundation will feature new art sound and visuals, entertainment performances, live music by Dj Kidd Madonny, a top-shelf liquor VIP area, fire performers, dancers and surprises. The event will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., Friday, Oct. 29, at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), 1855 Griffin Road in Dania Beach.
