Justin Weinstein & Xena

From downward dog to desk patrol, Xena keeps the Weinstein Legal Team laughing—and on their toes.

Tell us about your dog.

My dog’s name is Xena, and she’s a high-energy, loud, and lovable Shiba Inu. She’s also a proud rescue from Shiba Inu Rescue of Florida. True to her breed, she’s independent and bold, with a bark that could stop traffic—and she’s not afraid to use it! What makes Xena special is that underneath all that chaos is a fiercely loyal companion with a huge heart. She’s the kind of dog who makes her presence known in the best way possible, and life wouldn’t be nearly as fun without her.

What’s your dog’s quirkiest habit or personality trait?

Xena has many quirks, but my favorite is that we stretch together every morning. The second I hit the mat, she jumps in—barking, twisting, and doing her own version of yoga. It’s like she’s coaching me through the session. It’s hilarious and one of my favorite parts of the day.

How do you juggle your work or personal life with your dog?

I balance work and life with Xena by bringing her to the office with me sometimes—she’s the official mascot of the Weinstein Legal Team. On the days she’s there, she brings energy, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos. She strolls around like she owns the place—tail high, eyes scanning for unattended breakfasts or forgotten lunches. No snack is safe when Xena’s on patrol! Whether she’s barking at the printer, nudging someone for scratches or plotting her next snack heist, she keeps the entire team on their toes. Everyone loves her, even when she’s being her loud, crazy self.

What is your favorite pet charity or rescue organization and why?

We’re proud to support the Bark Back Benefit. This incredible event shares a mission close to our hearts—partnering with shelters, communities, volunteers, and the music industry to connect homeless pets with loving adults, senior citizens, fosters, and veterans. As a dog lover, I truly believe every dog deserves a safe and loving home—quirks and all. Supporting the Bark Back Benefit is our way of giving back and helping more dogs like Xena find the families they’re meant for. Join us on October 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Bryant Park Amphitheater in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, for an afternoon of music, community, and making a difference—one paw at a time.
