Legends in the House

April brings a host of entertainment icons to the guitar-shaped resort at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for what promises to be a memorable month of shows at Hard Rock Live

Janet Jackson kicks things off with two shows (April 14 & 16) as part of her “Together Again” tour that includes special guest Ludacris. The five-time Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is one of four artists with a No. 1 album in four successive decades, along with Barbra Streisand, Bruce Springsteen and U2.

Classic rock lovers have two opportunities in April to see the stars in action, starting April 18 with Billy Idol, who scored hits with “White Wedding” and “Rebel Yell” in the early 1980s. Later in the month, Pat Benatar and husband Neil Giraldo, fresh off their November induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, return to Hollywood for an evening of greatest hits like “Promises in the Dark,” “Heartbreaker,” “We Belong” and much more.

The month concludes with two kings of comedy, Steve Martin and Martin Short, as they continue to delight audiences with their wildly entertaining show (currently titled “You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!”). Expect the longtime friends (and two of the Three Amigos) to take shots at Hollywood and each other during a set that includes Martin on banjo with Jeff Babko and The Steep Canyon Rangers—and Short appearing as his alter comedy ego, Jiminy Glick. The two are filming a third season of their hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building.
