Mexico Organico Opens Organic Mexican Eatery in Miami Beach

The South of Fifth eatery also offers signature Mexican cocktails, beers and spirits.

The newly opened eatery, Mexihco Orgánico, located in South Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood, specializes in serving 100% all-natural, organic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant offers a casual dining experience and prides itself on using only the freshest organic ingredients without compromising taste or quality. The chef-driven menu features various flavorful dishes created with a focus on using locally sourced, organic ingredients. As the only 100% organic Mexican restaurant in South Florida, Mexihco Orgánico aims to provide guests with a unique and healthy dining experience.

Chef Horacio Rivadero, previously the executive chef at Plant Miami, has joined Mexihco Orgánico as a collaborative chef, bringing his extensive experience. He was recognized as Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chef for the Gulf Region in 2012 and was a James Beard Award Best Chef: South semifinalist in 2014 for his work as the executive chef at The District. Rivadero is known for his passion for creating flavorful yet healthy dishes, as seen in his menu, which features locally sourced ingredients and changes regularly to take advantage of the freshest produce in the market.

The menu will feature signature Mexican favorites such as queso fundido, the classic quesadilla, and loaded nachos, while Chef Horacio will infuse his signature style to elevate dishes such as the carne asada tacos or the burrito pollo asado. A diverse selection of salsas, such as salsa verde, chipotle, and more, will be available.

The South of Fifth location on the ground level of The Cosmopolitan features a 1,150-square-foot space, complete with an indoor counter and outdoor seating areas. It can accommodate up to 80 guests. Mexihco Orgánico is exclusively available on Uber Eats and is perfect for on-the-go guests. The eatery is known for its casual and approachable atmosphere. Additionally, it has promoted eco-friendliness and sustainability by introducing biodegradable packaging, which aligns with its brand values.

Mexihco Orgánico is located at 110 Washington Ave. in Miami Beach. It is open daily from noon to 9 p.m.
