Olive & Sea Introduces Pizza Week

The restaurant will honor National Pizza Day on Feb. 9 with a week-long celebration.

Olive & Sea in Fort Lauderdale is inviting all pizza lovers to celebrate ‘For the Love of Pizza’ week in honor of National Pizza Day on Feb. 9. From Feb. 5 to Feb. 11, the restaurant will feature daily Laffa Pizza specials and house wine pairings. Additionally, couples can enjoy a three-course chef’s menu together on Feb. 14 on Valentine’s Day.

For $16 each day, a new pizza will be featured, including:

  • Monday, Feb. 5 – mozzarella, halloumi, charred tomato, olives, arugula
  • Tuesday, Feb. 6 – grilled shrimp, coriander sauce, feta
  • Wednesday, Feb. 7 – charred onions, Sautee spinach, zaatar whipped ricotta
  • Thursday, Feb. 8 – smoked duck, olives, fennel, dates
  • Friday, Feb. 9 – beef kibbeh, charred onion, roasted tomato, citrus labneh
  • Saturday, Feb. 10 – goat cheese, figs, toasted walnuts, truffle honey
  • Sunday, Feb. 11 – lamb, mint pesto, fresh mozzarella, mizuna salad

Fort Lauderdale’s newest rooftop, waterfront, Mediterranean restaurant, Olive & Sea, is known for preparing freshly baked Laffa bread crust in the open-kitchen, mosaic-tiled-brick oven made to order for every pizza. The aroma of the freshly baked pizza crust is lovely and adds to the overall experience of dining in the restaurant. In addition, suggested house wine pairings will also be featured at the restaurant for $8 per glass to enhance the dining experience.

The Pizza Week specials can be enjoyed during happy hour and dinner service. Olive & Sea is open seven days a week and offers Happy Hour from Monday to Friday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and dinner service from Monday to Thursday and Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., as well as on Friday and Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

At Olive & Sea, couples can enjoy a romantic and lively ambiance with the Intracoastal waterway as the backdrop on Valentine’s Day. Chef Miguel Toro has designed a three-course menu for two people to share. The menu includes a starter of Smoked Duck Confit with spiced Labneh, roasted fig, and crispy duck skin, a main course of Grape Leaf-Wrapped Whole Branzino with oregano cream sauce, lemon herb potatoes, and roasted vegetables, and a Chocolate Tart with raspberry Mousse and cherry compote for dessert. This special menu is exclusively available for Valentine’s Day and costs $145 per couple.

The Olive & Sea restaurant will have its full menu, which features popular spreads and mezzes with bread, salatas and an assortment of appetizers such as fried halloumi bites and charred octopus as starters. The menu will also include large plates, which consist of succulent skewers like fennel-dusted swordfish, shawarma spiced beef, and za’atar garlic chicken, and main plates like grilled gulf snapper and shawarma-spiced burger, among other indulgent dishes that can be made to order.
