Stranger Things: The Store

What does the world of Mike Wheeler and Eleven have to do with South Florida? When it comes to a certain runaway sci-fi horror drama that’s setting viewership records on Netflix, it’s a sign that Stranger Things are literally in store for our backyard.

Thanks to Aventura Mall, a pop-up store themed around the supernatural series launches Oct. 26, just in time for Halloween. Stranger Things: The Store promises an immersive and interactive retail experience with iconic settings from the show. There will be photo ops inside Joyce Byers’ house, shopping at Starcourt Mall, games inside the Palace Arcade—and even a chance to get up close with a Demogorgon. Die-hard fans should be on the lookout for easter eggs throughout the different rooms.

Expect all kinds of fun merchandise—from customizable apparel and toys to Stranger Things cereal.

“We are thrilled to bring this retail experience to Miami and give Stranger Things fans a chance to celebrate their love of this global phenomenon,” says Greg Lombardo, head of experiences at Netflix. “Stranger Things: The Store is a truly immersive retail experience totally stoked with 1980s vibes. It provides an opportunity for fans to step into iconic moments from the series and take home unique merchandise that isn’t available anywhere else. But be warned, you never know when things will turn Upside Down!”

Tickets are complimentary, but space is limited. Reservations are encouraged. Visit feverup.com/Miami and search for Stranger Things to find the official store site with reservation details.
