“Timeless Relevance” Holiday House Tour

On Saturday, Dec. 5, the 28th-annual Villagers’ Holiday House Tour will feature five historic homes in the north Coral Gables area with prepossessing architectural elements. Visitors walk and drive in their own vehicles between the properties as they observe homes made from local materials like coral rock mined from the Venetian Pool site and pecky cypress, all of which have withstood the tests of time. Visitors will also be treated to a rare visit inside a home in the exotic Chinese Village. Members of The Villagers will be on-hand to give guided tours of their homes. A gift boutique, quilt raffle and holiday treats will also be available.

The tour will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Unfortunately, the venues cannot accommodate wheelchairs or strollers and the owners ask that no high heels be worn or photography taken. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance. For more information and tickets, visit thevillagersinc.org.
