Wild Times In The Garden

Ron Magill, a wildlife expert and photographer as well as a notable alumni of Palmetto Senior High School, will be talking on “Sex and the Animals” on February 26 at Pinecrest Gardens. This is part of Palmetto Senior High School Alumni Association’s fundraising efforts. While the Alumni Association is only three years old, Palmetto Senior High School is over 50 years old. Funds raised by this event will go toward its scholarship fund with this being the first year of giving out scholarships to two graduating seniors.   Other notable alumni in attendance will be children’s book author Alex Flinn, the U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy, and the CEO and founder of Amazon.com, Jeff Bezos.
