Young at Art offers online education

With South Florida residents social distancing and self-quarantining, some locals are going stir crazy. Thankfully, the Young At Art Museum is offering solutions and “art relief for all.”

“We know how important it is to keep children educated and entertained through the arts while schools and museums are closed,” said Mindy Shrago, CEO and founder of Young At Art Museum. “We will continue to provide exciting opportunities for engagement in the arts for all our families.”

Young at Art’s website will be updated regularly with activities such as virtual museum tours and downloadable creation challenge and coloring book from artist David Anasagasti. Young ones can also join the museum’s Design Challenge for a chance for their designs to be featured on the museum’s Facebook page.

This effort is just the latest in the ways that the museum helps the community through its art and initiatives such as YAA on the Go and ArtREACH that serv more than 10,000 at-risk and homeless children and families
