Yoga for Life

On Sunday, January 26th, six local organizations will partner to host the fourth annual Yoga For Life Charity Event in Coral Springs.

The Yoga for Life event will introduce participants to mindfulness through yoga and meditation. Its main focus is community healing. Yoga instructors include Melanie Cordover, Lisa Ponczek, Mary Ann Morgan-Fried and Amy Kenny, founder of Yoga4MSD. Shelly Tygielski will be teaching meditation.

Guests can expect musical performances from ShineMSD, as well as a shoe drive for In Jacob’s Shoes and a clothing and toiletry drive for The Shirt Off My Back.

This event benefits six local charities founded as a result of the tragedy that occurred on February 14th, 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. These include Lifenet4families, Yoga4MSD, Orange Ribbons for Jaime, Change the Ref, Make Our Schools Safe and Safe Schools for Alex.

Yoga for Life is presented by Andy’s Pasta Dinner Junior Chef Program.

Cost: $25 recommended donation (guests under 18 can attend free of charge)
