Retailers and restaurants at Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise will be looking to fill 500 positions during a virtual job fair for area residents this week. The online fair will last from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through May 16.
Retailers interested in hiring include 7 for All Mankind, Abercrombie Kids, Adidas, Aldo, Bed Bath & Beyond, DKNY, Gucci, H&M, Kate Spade, Levi’s, Marshalls, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Nike Factory Store, Nordstrom, Puma, Tommy Hilfiger, Urban Country outfitters and more.
Full, part and seasonal jobs are available. Positions that need to be filled range from sales associates and security to management and medical assistants.
Florida’s last reported unemployment rate was at 4.7% in March 2021. The state has experienced a loss of 445,800 jobs since March 2020.
