Humane Society of Broward to Host Pet Adoption Event on Black Friday

Instead of turning to traditional malls for holiday gifts on Black Friday, the Humane Society of Broward County’s “Black Furrday” pet adoption event aims to provide furry friends to holiday crowds. During the Humane Society of Broward County (HSBC) event, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale, the nonprofit organization will be offering “Cuddle Busters,” which waives the adoption fee for select pets. In addition, the adoption fee will be ½ price for dogs and cats one year of age and older.

All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Broward County are spayed or neutered and have received preliminary vaccinations, a microchip, heart-worm test for dogs over seven months, feline leukemia test for cats, a limited 14-day health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospitals and a bag of Purina ONE pet food while supplies last.

For more information, call the shelter today at 954-989-3977 ext or visit www.humanebroward.com
