Annual Eat Your Heart Out Fundraiser to Benefit Heart Gallery of Broward County

Eat Your Heart Out, the annual food and “fun”raiser in Fort Lauderdale, will return featuring new restaurants and live entertainment. The fundraising event benefiting Heart Gallery of Broward County will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Galleria Fort Lauderdale. It will honor City Furniture as its Child Advocate of the Year for its #CITYCARES program, which gives 5% of its annual profits to nonprofit organizations that foster a sense of home, service, education, health and diversity. Eric Yutzy, WPLG Local 10 morning news anchor, will host the occasion.

The restaurants scheduled to provide gourmet tastings include Andy’s Live Fire Grill & Bar, Canyon, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, Funky Buddha, Hellenic Republic, Lips, Press & Grind, S3, Season’s 52, Sweeter Days Bake Shop, The Capital Grille, Tulio’s Tacos & Tequila Bar and Wilton Creamery. The open bar portion will feature Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants operating an exclusive wine bar, while Harry Blu’s Gin and Stoli will offer craft cocktails. Songstress Laura Vivas, a former contestant on NBC’s The Voice, will provide live entertainment.

“We are thrilled to return Galleria Fort Lauderdale to showcase our region’s top restaurants that are committed to helping children in need find loving homes,” Dr. Mary Kinirons says, executive director of Heart Gallery of Broward County. “This year’s Child Advocate honoree, City Furniture, is rooted in South Florida philanthropy and has been championing home and family for more than 20 years. We’re delighted to share their growth and accomplishments.”

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win various raffle prizes, including a three-night Lago Mar suite stay, breakfast for two each morning, dinner, additional gifts, two annual Water Taxi passes and three roundtrips airfares for two to anywhere Spirit Airlines flies.

Tickets are $150 per person and include complimentary valet parking. Raffle tickets are $50 each. To purchase tickets, visit www.heartgalleryofbroward.org/get-involved/eat-your-heart-out. For sponsor opportunities or more details, call (954) 918-3008.
