Friends of Jack & Jill Center to Host First Winter Carnival in Fort Lauderdale

To help generate funds for the Jack & Jill Center’s mission to strengthen children and families through innovative education, supportive programming and community engagement, the Friends of Jack & Jill Center will host its inaugural Winter Carnival from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 at Jack & Jill Center’s Halmos Family Building, 1315 W. Broward Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. The community event will feature carnival rides, games, arts and crafts, signature carnival food, face painting, photo opportunities and a live DJ. Activities will include a dual-lane inflatable slide, ballistic swings, rock climbing, bounce houses, a four-in-one sports center, phantoms revenge and more.

The Jack & Jill Center supports children of high-need working families through quality early childhood education. It has served 26,000 children and families in South Florida since 1942. The Friends of Jack & Jill Center was established in 1999 and has raised over $5.25 million and volunteered countless hours to improve the lives of the Center’s children and families.

Individual tickets are available for $2 per person (children under two years of age are free), with additional registration options to support the children and families of Jack & Jill Center at https://www.jackandjillcenter.org/carnivaltickets/. Food tickets will be available for purchase at the event. Event sponsorships ranging from $500 to $12,000 are available at https://www.jackandjillcenter.org/event/wintercarnival-2/.
