Wilton Manors Hosts Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival

Sponsorship, volunteer, and advertisement opportunities are open to corporations, community groups and individuals.

The City of Wilton Manors is preparing to host an inclusive event celebrating the 54th anniversary of the historic 1969 Stonewall Riots. The Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival festivities will begin with a street festival on June 17 at 3 p.m., followed by a twilight parade at 7 p.m. The event is open for all residents, visitors, businesses and nonprofits to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community both locally and globally.

“I’m proud that Wilton Manors is a place that welcomes everyone and hope friends and neighbors both near and far will join us to celebrate Pride at our annual Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival,” Mayor Scott Newton says.

General admission tickets are available online through June 16 for $8 per person and include festival entry at unique pre-paid lines at main entrances, access to the street festival featuring more than 50 local vendors, performances on six stages and entry to the parade. Day of general admission tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the main entrances. VIP packages, including air-conditioned tents and exclusive premium lounge experiences, are also available for purchase. Visit stonewallpride.lgbt to buy tickets.

“Over the years, this event has grown from a locally attended parade to an international festival that brings approximately 50,000 people from all over the state, country, and globe together to celebrate Pride,” Stonewall and WMEG CEO Jeffrey Sterling says. “We wouldn’t be able to produce an event of this magnitude without the support of our community and sponsors, and I am so thankful for their generosity.”

Sponsorship, volunteer, and advertisement opportunities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with discounts available for early registration. Save your spot by visiting stonewallpride.lgbt or by emailing [email protected].
