Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Black Tie Ball Honors Community Leaders

The theme will focus on timeless elegance with a flair of Broadway’s Moulin Rouge.

The highly anticipated Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Black Tie Ball, presented by Broward Health in Association with Republic National Distributing Company with a Moulin Rouge flair, promises romance, glamour and exhilaration. It is hosted and produced by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The enchanting event on Saturday, Dec. 9 guarantees unforgettable entertainment, exquisite dining and an ambiance reminiscent of the iconic Broadway show.

Experience the allure and mystique of turn-of-the-century Paris at the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Black Tie Ball. The evening will kick off with a Welcome Reception sponsored by Fision Fiber Optics by Hotwire Communications, featuring an ice bar showcasing Republic National Distributing Company’s wine and spirits products like Deep Eddy Vodka, Botanist Gin, and Remy Martin. With a perfect fusion of elegance and excitement, this event promises to transport you to an enchanting world where passion, artistry, and opulence seamlessly collide. The cast of the spectacular Moulin Rouge! The Musical (special thanks to Broadway Across America) and the band Private Stock, sponsored by DEX Imaging, will provide special performances to ensure guests dance the night away. This event is the most prominent holiday gala in Fort Lauderdale and the highlight of South Florida’s social season.

The Winterfest Black Tie Ball will host an amazing silent auction presented by Robinson’s Jewelers. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on more than 250 items from the comfort of their homes. The live auction, on the other hand, will take place inside the ballroom and will feature experiences from Pink Sands Resort, Ocean Manor Beach Resort, Captain Lee onboard Savior-Faire, Explora Journeys, services from Dr. Lisa Learn, an outdoor kitchen designed and installed by US Brick & Block Systems, LLC., jewelry from Robinson’s Jewelers Las Olas, Membership at the Tower Club, and a Private Cabana at SeaGlass. Those who wish to donate an item to the auction can contact Winterfest at 954-767-0686.

Dressing up with a touch of Moulin Rouge flair is encouraged for the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Black Tie Ball, and guests are invited to indulge in the celebration of life, love, and art with a twist of risqué. The ballroom will be transformed to reflect the Parisian era, and local top fashion designer Zola Keller has created elegant gowns that range from pure sophistication to embracing the inner showgirl with feather boas, corsets, and glittering accessories, giving guests a chance to look their best.

Susan Renneisen, Vice President of Community Affairs and Special Events for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Kathryn Salerno, MBA – Director of Community Affairs for Broward Health, will chair this event. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will honor two of this area’s community leaders: 2023 Belle of the Ball – Karla Nelson-Thatcher, Hotwire Communications Senior Vice President, Marketing, Media, Public & Government Affairs. David Boothe, On Premise Division Manager representing Republic National Distributing Company, will be recognized as this year’s Commodore.

Tickets are $400 per person and tables of 10 range from $4,000 to $6,000 are on sale. Secure a spot by visiting Winterfestparade.com.
