Tri-Rail Introduces Inaugural On-Track Summer Fest

Proceeds from the event will benefit Neighbors 4 Neighbors.

Tri-Rail’s first-ever ‘On-Track Summer Fest’ is a celebration designed with families and music lovers in mind. It’s a chance for everyone to enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, and meaningful charitable initiatives. From 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 at Tri-Rail’s Cypress Creek Station (5910 NW 9th Ave., Fort Lauderdale), the event promises an afternoon filled with the vibrant energy of local arts and crafts vendors.

“We are thrilled to introduce another special event to bring people onboard our trains for a fun-filled afternoon at one of our stations,” David Dech says, Executive Director of SFRTA/Tri-Rail. “We have a great track record of presenting popular family events in the winter and spring, so this summer, we introduce a new event where we invite everyone for another enjoyable experience of riding trains and relishing some live music.”

Guests can look forward to experiencing dynamic live performances by the renowned Catabella Music Group (pictured) and the captivating sounds of Streetlight. The festival offers a variety of unique creations to browse. For younger attendees, the Kids Zone will provide excitement with bounce houses, glitter tattoos, a creative coloring station, and interactive activities provided by the Florida Panthers.

Experience a variety of delicious dishes from an array of food trucks, such as Don Chingon Tacos, Emmy Beth’s Ice Cream, I Love Panzerotti, Jake’s Drive-In Burgers and Ya Hala. Guests can also enjoy a cold brew from the Funky Buddha Brewery beer station. All purchases support Neighbors 4 Neighbors, a South Florida nonprofit organization committed to helping individuals and families in crisis.

Tri-Rail offers $5 all-day weekend fares, allowing guests to make their journey hassle-free. Visitors can hop on the rails to attend On-Track Summer Fest and participate in the complimentary family fun, music and local delights.
