Guided Walking Tours Explore Boca Raton’s History

They are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month through April and the second Tuesday in May.

Discover Boca Raton’s rich history with guided walking tours of the iconic landmark, The Boca Raton (501 E. Camino Real). Starting this month and continuing on the second and fourth Tuesdays through April, these tours are hosted by the Boca Raton Historical Society. Experience a unique opportunity to explore the historic hotel’s significant role in shaping the city’s identity since the 1920s.

Guided by expert historians, participants will explore the hotel’s iconic architecture, delve into the stories of its famed hoteliers, and uncover its ties to pivotal moments in history. Perfect for history lovers, architecture aficionados, and curious locals alike, this tour highlights one of Boca Raton’s most cherished landmarks.

“Walking through The Boca Raton is like stepping back in time Mary Csar,” says Mary Csar, Executive Director of the Boca Raton Historical Society. “This historic site holds the stories of a vibrant past that has shaped our community. We are thrilled to share these stories with visitors and locals alike, connecting them to the rich heritage of Boca Raton.”

Tickets are $29 per person and must be purchased by 2 p.m. the day before the tour at 2025 Season: History Tours of The Boca Raton | Eventbrite.
