JetBlue Launches New Fort Lauderdale–Cali Service, Expanding to Four Destinations in Colombia

JetBlue has recently launched new daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport (CLO), serving Cali, Colombia. The launch gives customers a new nonstop option between Fort Lauderdale and one of Colombia’s largest cities, while providing travelers from Cali with convenient connections through FLL to destinations across the airline’s growing network.

Cali becomes JetBlue’s fourth destination in Colombia, joining Cartagena and Medellín, and follows the airline’s launch of Fort Lauderdale–Barranquilla service earlier this month. The additions deepen JetBlue’s presence in a region that remains an important part of its network, with Latin America and the Caribbean accounting for approximately one-third of the airline’s overall capacity.

Known as the “Salsa Capital of the World,” Cali is renowned for its music and dance culture and serves as a major commercial and cultural center in southwestern Colombia. The new daily service creates a convenient nonstop link to South Florida, supporting travel for customers, visiting friends and relatives, exploring the region, or traveling for business.

“The addition of Cali marks another important milestone in JetBlue’s continued growth in Colombia, extending our award-winning service and competitive fares to even more customers,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, revenue, network and enterprise planning, JetBlue. “This new service gives customers more options to travel between Colombia and South Florida, and connect beyond Fort Lauderdale, reflecting our continued commitment to the country and our focus on growing in markets where we see strong customer demand and opportunities to offer greater choice and competition.”

Cali’s launch comes as JetBlue continues a significant expansion in Fort Lauderdale, the airline’s first destination and a major focus city in its network. JetBlue now offers more flights and nonstop destinations from FLL than any other airline.
