Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2023: Experience Luxury and Innovation Like Never Before

The premier boating event features seven show locations showcasing the latest boating and yachting technology.

The unparalleled nautical journey that is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) 2023 will set sail from Oct. 25 to Oct. 29 around seven locations in Fort Lauderdale. Interested attendees can now secure a two-day pass to enjoy all seven show locations. FLIBS spans over six decades, generating over $1.79 billion in the state’s annual economy. It is owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and produced by Informa Markets, becoming an unrivaled platform for marine enthusiasts, industry professionals and luxury aficionados.

“FLIBS 2023 invites guests to immerse themselves in a sensory voyage, where cutting-edge design, state-of-the-art technology, and sustainable initiatives converge to redefine the future of boating,” Andrew Doole says, president of U.S. Boat Shows with Informa Markets, who produces the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. “With a legacy spanning over six decades and bringing over $1.79 billion into the state’s annual economy, FLIBS continues to set new standards for excellence, becoming an unrivaled platform for marine enthusiasts, industry professionals, and luxury aficionados.”

FLIBS serves as a pivotal hub for boating enthusiasts and a cornerstone of South Florida’s identity. MIASF’s recent industry report states that the industry’s expansion has had a profound ripple effect on local employment, generating approximately 141,860 jobs across South Florida. The industry is currently experiencing a 20% increase in the value of boats since 2019, coupled with a noticeable upswing in boat sales, painting a profoundly positive picture for the industry at large.

“In both our local economy and on a national stage, the marine industry and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show have long been integral to our region’s prosperity,” Phil Purcell says, CEO and president of the MIASF, who owns the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. “The boating sector’s remarkable resilience, particularly evident in its robust growth during the pandemic, has not only attracted a fresh influx of youthful customers but has also reinvigorated the industry’s landscape. As demand skyrockets, FLIBS 2023 is primed to shine on an unrivaled stage, allowing the boating industry to proudly present its finest offerings, all while embracing a future of sustained success.”

Amidst a host of attractions, two-day tickets offer a perfect opportunity for visitors to experience an exciting lineup of premieres from some of the world’s leading manufacturers, such as Tiara, Majesty Yachts, Princess Yachts, Sunreef Yachts Sportsman Boats, and more.

For those seeking to plan the ideal FLIBS experience, commencing the boat show adventure at the Broward County Convention Center (BCCC) is recommended as the most convenient way to experience FLIBS. As the official FLIBS Transportation Hub, BCCC has more than 3,000 parking spaces and connects guests to the event’s shuttle and Water Taxi service, transporting visitors to all seven show locations. Guests can also purchase tickets to access the Water Taxi and efficiently move throughout all seven show sites. Fishing boats, runabouts, cruisers, marine accessories, fishing equipment, diving accessories and personal watercraft will be on display at BCCC. Visitors can also see an impressive range of vehicles from Ford, FLIBS’ Proud Truck and Towing Partner.

Visitors from Orlando, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Aventura, or Miami can also leverage the convenience of Brightline. Brightline’s express rail service offers a hassle-free way to avoid traffic and parking and reach Fort Lauderdale. Guests can also enjoy the complimentary shuttle service from the station to the Riverside Hotel.
