Gastropub Tap 42 Comes to Coral Gables

Fort Lauderdale’s hip gastropub, Tap 42, is set to open its Coral Gables location this month. The new spot will boast a unique craft beer bar and innovative food options in addition to the staple menu items from the Fort Lauderdale location. It will still offer the same Tap 42 specials that make the Fort Lauderdale hangout so popular among young professionals, including $5 Prohibition Burger Monday, Ladies’ Night on Wednesday and Bottomless Brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

The 6,350-square-foot restaurant and craft beer bar will have more than 200 seats, a retractable open storefront featuring floor-to-ceiling garage doors, individual booth seating and an outdoor patio area.

“Tap 42 is a concept that has taken off in South Florida,” says Doug Rudolph, CEO of Tap 42’s parent company, TapCo. “We are proud of the success it has already gained and are thrilled to expand to Coral Gables. Salzedo Street is the perfect location to offer residents a vibrant restaurant that can serve as a local go-to destination.”

Tap 42 is located at 301 Giralda Avenue, Suite 1, Coral Gables. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sunday,
11 a.m. to midnight. For more information, visit tap42.com.
