Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Opens in West Boca Raton

The fast-casual restaurant has won several awards.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is now serving its authentic Mediterranean cuisine at 9961 Glades Rd. in West Boca Raton’s Shadowood Square. General Manager Carlos Perez, an experienced dining professional with family roots in the restaurant business, manages the restaurant. It boasts an award-winning menu that presents a contemporary take on Mediterranean classics and serves them in an upscale, fast-casual setting. Customers can indulge in traditional dishes such as the Great Greek Gyro, in addition to Lamb, Steak, and Chicken Souvlaki Plates, which are accompanied by Greek salads and four exclusive house-made dips like Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper).

“Food brings people together, and I’m excited to welcome the community to share good times while enjoying our awesome Mediterranean cuisine,” Perez says. “We take our guests on a culinary journey to Greece and the Mediterranean region, where every bite is a celebration of taste and tradition.” He recommends ordering the Great Greek Gyro with Lemon Potatoes, calling the Gyro “the perfect sandwich.”

Perez’s family has roots in Spain and Cuba and owned restaurants in New Jersey during his childhood. After working as a General Manager for a few different restaurant chains, he was drawn to The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill because it presented an opportunity to serve dishes made with simple ingredients and deliver friendly hospitality to customers.

The brand strives to “Live Your Life Deliciously” by preparing everything in-house with high-quality ingredients that bring traditional flavors from recipes passed down for generations. The concept provides guests with a wide range of customizable options, such as the Classic Greek Salad or Rice Bowl with a choice of Gyro Meat, Salmon, or other protein choices. Guests can indulge in unique offerings like made-to-order Feta Fries and must-have desserts such as Baklava Ice Cream and Rice Pudding.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill caters to large parties, events, and meetings. It is suitable for family gatherings, as it offers Mediterranean spreads with bold flavors that leave a lasting impression on guests. Customers can choose from various options, including build-your-own Gyros and savory Souvlaki Skewers, accompanied by buttery Rice Pilaf, crisp Greek Salad, authentic dips, and delectable desserts like Baklava.

The restaurant belongs to the family of affiliated brands and the United Franchise Group (UFG) consultants. It is managed within the Big Flavor Brands and Starpoint Brands™ specialty groups of UFG. Members can access a global network of resources and more than thirty years of experience in the franchise industry through these affiliations.
