Hutong Launches Interactive Sunday Brunch Experience

Experience this extravagant Chinese brunch in the heart of Brickell.

Hutong, a modern Northern Chinese restaurant and bar, is introducing an interactive brunch event every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This immersive experience highlights traditional Chinese flavors and innovative culinary techniques, offering a wide variety of dishes for $88 per adult and $45 per child. Guests can enjoy leisurely grazing at culinary stations throughout the restaurant, featuring a roasted Peking duck carving display with traditional accompaniments and individually served classic Dan Dan noodles from Hutong. The festive brunch ambiance is complemented by music from Hutong’s resident DJs, making it the perfect choice for large groups and family gatherings.

At the heart of the Hutong brunch experience, guests are invited to savor the globally renowned and exquisite dim sum selection. In a nod to the timeless Hong Kong-style dim sum brunches, diners can relish in Hutong’s acclaimed dumplings and baos by ordering individual pieces directly at their table using a provided notepad. This innovative approach embodies Hong Kong’s dim sum culture, empowering brunch-goers to craft their own dining journeys by selecting from Hutong’s diverse dim sum options, seamlessly blending tradition with a modern dining ambiance.

Hutong also offers beverage deals. For $45 per person, guests can enjoy unlimited prosecco, select signature cocktails, wine, and beer, including their famous Comfortably Numb cocktail. This creation is made with vanilla vodka, lychee liqueur, and Sichuan pepper-infused honey and is rimmed with dried Sichuan peppercorns, providing a unique bittersweet numbing effect. If guests opt for the Emperor bar package at $65 per person, they can indulge in prosecco, wine, beer, and their choice of Hutong’s Comfortably Numb, Lychee Martinis, and Spicy Margaritas throughout the reservation.

The brunch experience at Hutong can occur in the main dining room or outdoors on the spacious patio along Brickell Avenue. Both spaces blend traditional Chinese elements with vibrant Miami-inspired pop-art colors. The decor includes copper Zhejiang teapot displays, triple-height ceilings surrounded by 35,000 antique bricks from a 1930s building in China, intricately hand-carved wooden dynasty lattice screens, and a rendition of China’s famous “Great Wall.” As evening falls, the 70-foot-long wall of hand-carved Chinese wood doors and panels comes alive with a mesmerizing display of color and light, opening and closing in front of diners’ eyes.
