Isabelle’s at Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove Relaunches Mad Hatters Brunch Series

Food influencer Gio Gutierrez curates the menus.

Isabelle’s at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove is relaunching its Mad Hatters Brunch Series from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday through May 26. The second edition, ‘The Queen of Hearts,’ will feature a themed brunch menu and a special cocktail menu by Miami food influencer Gio Gutierrez (@chatchowtv). The event collaborates with Gutierrez and presents three specialty cocktails paired with delightful bites, creating an enchanting evening experience that complements the daytime festivities at Isabelle’s. Guests can enjoy the whimsical Mad Hatters Brunch on Sundays and continue their magical journey with the After Dark series at The Commodore on Saturday evenings.

The limited-time dining experience at Isabelle’s outdoor garden terrace promises to invigorate the senses and transport brunch enthusiasts and Alice in Wonderland fans to a whimsical playground. Along with the themed decor, festive tea party games, and a DJ, the terrace is decked with oversized planters, natural wood tables, and plush cushions on woven chairs, all nestled amidst lush green landscaping. With all these elements, diners can revel in a unique brunch experience they’re unlikely to find elsewhere.

Isabelle’s team has collaborated with Gutierrez to create four unique cocktails named ‘The Queen of Hearts’ ($20 each) for the remaining series period. The cocktails include Wonderland Whimsy Refresher, Celebratory Airmail With A Story To Tell made with Havana Club Añejo Blanco, honey syrup, lime, and bubbles; Red Queen Hibiscus Cosmopolitan, an updated twist on the classic Cosmopolitan made with UNA Vodka, Cointreau, cranberry, lime, hibiscus tea, glitter; Through The Looking Glass, a White Negroni like no other made with Bombay Sapphire gin, Bianco vermouth, Luxardo bitter, orange oils; and the Queen Of Hearts Tea Elixir, Teatime with a Punch made with Dewar’s 12 whisky, peach, coconut water, mint. Additionally, customers can enjoy bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Marys, or Bellinis ($39) every week during brunch.

In addition to the a la carte brunch menu, the restaurant offers delectable specialties such as the Strawberry & Champagne Pancakes ($21) topped with strawberry champagne syrup and delicate gold leaf and the Queen’s Royal Hash ($22) made with potato, onion, and leek hash, perfectly poached eggs, and drizzled with a decadent three cheese sauce. Guests can also choose to elevate the dish in three styles: Cheshire Cat Style with smoked salmon and Tobiko caviar, Mad Hatter Style with grilled kielbasa, or Grow Me with exotic mixed mushrooms and truffle.

Isabelle’s has invited attendees of the tea party to relish spring flavors with their dessert spread. The Curious and Curiouser Carousel ($45) is a rotating display of six delectable desserts, which includes Coconut Carmelia Mousse, Pistachio Cherry Mousse Dome, Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Bar, Vanilla Bean Rum Cake, Choco Raspberry Mousse, and Ube Cake with Tropical Fruit Curd and Coconut Ganache. A smaller sampler of three sweet selections called the Unbirthday Cake ($24) will also be offered.

Isabelle’s and The Commodore at The Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove is at 3300 SW 27th Ave. Valet is available for $10 for guests with reservations. To book a table for brunch, please visit Isabelle’s Coconut Grove Reservations (sevenrooms.com).
