Lefkes Estiatorio Arrives in Delray Beach

The modern Greek dining destination opened its first Florida earlier this month.

Lefkes Estiatorio recently made its much-anticipated debut at the Delray Beach Market in downtown Delray Beach. This full-service fine dining and nightlife spot offers a delightful selection of modern Mediterranean cuisine with a flavorful twist inspired by traditional classics.

Lefkes Estiatorio offers an exquisite journey of flavors to transport guests to the Greek Islands and beyond. Executive Chef Gregory Simpson leads the restaurant and features a menu that includes Lavraki (Grilled Whole Mediterranean Sea Bass), Charcoal and Wood-Grilled Lamb Chops, Wild-Caught New Zealand Langoustines, Saganaki, Charcoal-Grilled Octopus, Sesame-Crusted Tuna Salad, Watermelon Salad with Feta chunks, Zucchini and eggplant Chips, Prime Steaks, and more.

Lefkes Estiatorio will also feature a full-service sushi and sashimi bar, offering eight signature rolls. These include Hades’ Trident (yellowtail, avocado, jalapeno, scallion, wasabi tobiko, spicy mayo), Santorini Roll (shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber, avocado, scallion, wasabi tobiko, spicy mayo, kabayaki), as well as two signature boats, Poseidon’s Platter and Neptune’s Boat, both serving sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls.

The signature cocktails feature the Santorini Sunset with Tito’s, Aperol, hibiscus tea syrup, passion fruit, and lime; the Lefkes Delray with Volcan Blanco Tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, ginger-infused honey, and Hawaiian black salt; and the Mykonos Me Baby with Ketel One, rhubarb liqueur, passion fruit syrup and lemon.

Lefkes Estiatorio made its initial debut with two locations in Athens in 2004 and then expanded to its second location in Santorini in 2017. In 2018, the first U.S. location was opened in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The Delray Beach location marks the group’s fifth restaurant. Georgia Dumas, Managing Partner of Lefkes, has had her eye on Delray Beach for quite some time.

“I spend a lot of time in South Florida, and I’ve seen Delray Beach emerge as a premier culinary destination over the years,” Dumas says. “I wanted Lefkes to be a part of this exciting and growing scene. We’re bringing the bold flavors and energy of Greece to downtown Delray Beach, and we can’t wait to take our guests on this Mediterranean journey!”

Lefkes Delray not only offers outstanding cuisine but also channels the atmosphere of Mykonos in Delray every Friday and Saturday night. Starting at 9 p.m., the restaurant transforms into a top nightlife spot with top DJs and special performers.

An extensive Happy Hour menu offering light bites and 50% off drink specials is available daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dinner service is offered until 10 p.m. from Sunday through Wednesday and until 11 p.m. from Thursday through Saturday. On Fridays and Saturdays, Mykonos-style DJs and entertainment start at 9 p.m.

Reservations can be made at OpenTable.com; more information is available at LefkesGroup.com. Lefkes Estiatorio is located at Delray Beach Market, 33 SE 3rd Ave., Delray Beach.
