Marion Nears Reopening With a $4 Million Redesign and New Culinary Experience

The restaurant debuted in 2015.

On Thursday, Marion will reveal its grand reopening in Brickell. After a thorough summer renovation, Marion aims to redefine Miami’s lively dining and nightlife scene with a fresh sense of refinement and an exciting experience. The revamped appearance seamlessly combines nostalgic charm with contemporary elegance, and Marion will also introduce an updated menu, offering an elevated destination for dining, entertainment and special occasions.

“The decision to renovate and relaunch Marion is rooted in its legacy as a Miami landmark,” says Mathieu Massa, Founder and CEO of Mr. Hospitality Miami, which owns Marion. “For years, Marion has been synonymous with exceptional dining, trendsetting flair, and a premier nightlife destination. This transformation elevates Marion from the ‘It’ girl of Brickell to a sophisticated, graceful icon. This is not just a renovation; it’s a $4,000,000 rebirth—returning to her essence with newfound elegance, ready to enchant our guests anew.”

Marion is well-known for its iconic Thursday night events, which blend exquisite dining with lively nightlife. The relaunch is committed to maintaining these customs while adding a new touch of elegance. Attendees can look forward to live shows by Marion’s skilled lineup of performers, vocalists, and dancers, ensuring a smooth shift from a sophisticated dining affair to an exciting late-night entertainment experience.

Carlos Rodriguez from Escala Forma designed the reimagined Marion to honor its past and embrace an exciting new future. The revamped restaurant presents a sophisticated, playful ambiance with warm, inviting tones. The entrance features 15 custom Murano flower chandeliers imported from Italy, adding elegance to the venue’s vibrant and dynamic color palette. As the night progresses, the ceiling transforms into a lively LED-paneled disco, elevating Marion’s renowned electric nightlife atmosphere.

Marion Miami

“The ‘New Marion’ is a reinvigorated version of a beloved neighborhood gem,” Rodriguez says. “Our design celebrates Marion’s rich history while infusing it with modern sophistication. Inspired by iconic venues like Studio 54, we’ve used bold colors and playful elements to create a space that’s both familiar and refreshingly new. Marion’s evolution mirrors Miami’s dynamic spirit, promising guests unforgettable nights that reflect the city’s essence.”

Marion is located at 1111 SW 1st Ave. Its opening hours are from 7 p.m. until late, Tuesday through Saturday. For reservations and more information, please visit Marionmiami.com or call 786-717-7512.
