Miami-Based Oishii Sake Celebrates National Sake Day

Oct. 1 will be the day of celebration.

Miami-based Oishii Sake plans to celebrate National Sake Day by introducing a new perspective on the popular Japanese drink. Under the slogan “Sake, not just for sushi anymore,” Oishii highlights pairing its concoction with a wide range of dishes, including pizza, burgers, and spaghetti.

Oishii Sake, available for $35.99, blends authentic Japanese techniques with American ingenuity. It uses pure Blue Ridge Mountain water and high-quality Titan rice from Arkansas. It’s an ode to the concept that exceptional sake originates from top-notch ingredients—excellent rice combined with high-quality water results in premium sake.

Visitors can savor an Oishii Cocktail in the nontraditional sake-sipping environment of Bob’s Your Uncle Miami, a timeless bar with a local atmosphere. For a home recipe, a Lychee Sake Martini combines Oishii Sake, sweet lychee and lemon for any celebration or gathering.
