NAMI Broward County Generates Over $30,000 at Annual Artful Minds Fundraiser

The funds will support the nonprofit’s programs and services.

NAMI Broward County’s Third Annual Artful Minds event featured over 125 guests coming together to support mental health awareness. The event included networking opportunities, light snacks and a showcase of artwork created by artists living with mental health disorders. The proceeds generated from the event aid NAMI Broward County in offering mental health services, education, advocacy and support to hundreds of thousands of individuals living with mental health disorders and their families.

An auction featured a carefully selected range of artwork, from framed pressed flowers to acrylic canvases, created by living artists who have dealt with mental health disorders. There were also inspiring performances by young poets from the Omari Hardwick blueapple Poetry Network and the acclaimed Impact Artist Alexander Star.
