New York Staple Roberta’s to Open First Florida Location in Luxury Miami Beach Condo

The eatery will occupy 3,000 square feet of 72 Park’s approximately 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

72 Park, a 22-story residential tower under construction, has secured Roberta’s, a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant co-founded by Brandon Hoy and two-Michelin-starred chef Carlo Mirarchi, as a tenant at the luxury Miami Beach condominium. Situated in a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, 72 Park, developed by Lefferts, a real estate development firm specializing in high-quality residential and commercial properties in Miami and New York City, is expected to be completed in the summer of 2024 and will offer luxury residences ranging from 410 to 2,200 square feet, with prices starting at $700,000.

The northwest corner of the new residential building situated at 580 72nd St. in Miami Beach will be occupied by Roberta’s. Established in 2008 in a cinder-block warehouse in Brooklyn, Roberta’s quickly became a beloved neighborhood icon fueled by the restaurant’s diverse menu of artisanal plates and seasonal dishes curated with local, international and homegrown ingredients from its rooftop garden. The success of the Brooklyn location led the owners to open several other locations throughout New York City. The brand has expanded globally, offering a variety of eateries, from full-service restaurants to more casual concepts.

“We are very excited to introduce Roberta’s to the vibrant city of Miami,” says Roberta’s chef and co-founder Carlo Mirarchi. “The energy and diversity of Miami’s food scene resonates deeply with our commitment to providing fun and memorable dining experiences for our guests. With its rich cultural tapestry, Miami provides the perfect canvas and 72 Park the perfect home for Roberta’s first step into the Florida market.”

The team behind Roberta’s will also bring some of their popular programming in addition to the restaurant.

“We love the neighborhood,” says Roberta’s co-founder Brandon Hoy. “And can’t wait to not only serve this community but to also add some Brooklyn charm to the city’s culinary landscape.”

The LEED Gold-certified 72 Park condominium tower boasts interiors and landscapes designed by Urban Robots Associates. The tower offers a variety of unit types, including Jr., one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Each unit combines luxury and style with spacious floor plans, high ceilings, deep balconies, Italian cabinetry, imported stone and energy-efficient appliances. All units will be fully furnished and equipped with floor-to-ceiling, impact-resistant glass, keyless entry with SALTO and smart access controls, individually controlled and energy-efficient central AC and heating systems, premium bathroom fixtures, hardware, and accessories. The building also features advanced smart building features, such as high-speed, fiber-optic Wi-Fi access throughout and five high-speed passenger elevators with access control.

Residents can enjoy a variety of luxurious amenities at 72 Park, including a 35,000-square-foot amenity deck with almost an acre of lush, tropical landscaping, a 150-foot-long resort-style pool with cabanas, a bar and lounge with indoor-outdoor seating, a state-of-the-art fitness center with yoga lounge, a 24/7 coworking lounge with private “pods,” a kids playroom, a private outdoor barbecue area, and a private rooftop that features a sun deck with dining areas and grills. Additionally, residents can enjoy movie nights and sporting events in an outdoor screening area.

“Lefferts is committed to this neighborhood and is thoughtfully curating products and experiences that will celebrate and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors,” Jim Hedden says, Chief Development Officer of Lefferts. “We couldn’t be happier that Roberta’s has chosen to open at 72 Park, bringing a taste of NYC and an award-winning dining experience. Roberta’s is the perfect addition to the lifestyle and amenities planned for our luxury condominium.”
