Peking Duck House Opens in Pompano Beach

The restaurant specializes in authentic Chinese fare.

South Florida-based Unisolo Restaurant Group recently expanded its regional reach by launching its latest brand, Peking Duck House, in Pompano Beach. The company also plans to open two additional locations of its renowned Saiko-i Sushi Lounge and Hibachi in Parkland (March) and Plantation (June), which will specialize in offering fresh sushi and Japanese cuisine to customers. Several dishes are available on the menu, including General Tso chicken, pepper steak with onions, and lobster stir fry with ginger scallion sauce.

The Peking Duck House, situated at 1200 E. Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach, is a spacious restaurant occupying an area of 3,500 square feet. With a seating capacity of 120, the restaurant operates seven days a week, opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 3 p.m. In addition, Peking Duck House features a full bar for customers to enjoy.

Unisolo Restaurant Group, owned by Tina Wang and Chef Jason Zheng, operates several successful restaurants in Florida. These include the popular Coco Sushi Lounge and Bar in Delray Beach, Koi in Fort Lauderdale, Saiko-i Lounge and Hibachi in Boca Raton, Yakitori Sushi House in West Delray, and Yakitori Sake House in east Boca Raton.

“Our Unisolo family of restaurants is definitely known for Asian cuisine, but we have primarily focused on Japanese fare to this point,” Wang says. “As we considered the acquisition of Peking Duck, we knew it was a beloved restaurant, but we felt it needed a little refreshing. We want to stay true to Chinese flavors and classic dishes but add a twist to the menu with our unique brand of Asian flair. More and more people are discovering a passion for Asian cuisine. It’s healthy, it’s flavorful, it’s fresh, and we’re finding it’s growing dramatically in popularity. We just want to share the Asian culinary experience with as many people as we can!”

The Unisolo group seeks to expand its culinary presence across Broward and Palm Beach counties. Unisolo has eight restaurants under five brands, occupying over 60,000 square feet of retail space in the two counties. The company’s workforce comprises more than 100 employees, which is expected to grow as Unisolo expands its market reach.

Saiko-I Sushi Lounge and Hibachi at 5791 Coral Ridge Drive in Parkland will have a total area of 4,000 square feet and is slated to open in March. It has a seating capacity of 180. Meanwhile, another restaurant branch, located at 8100-8160 W. Broward Boulevard in Plantation, covers an area of 7,000 square feet and is set to open in June. It will have a seating capacity of more than 200.
